Yizo Privacy Policy
Yizo is designed so that your information stays with you. This policy explains what the app stores, what Space can and cannot see, and how to exercise your rights.
Who is responsible
The controller is Space, an independent studio based in Pamplona, Navarra, Spain. This policy covers the Yizo app; the website has its own policy.
For the website, see the website privacy policy .
For any privacy question write to privacy@spaceforgers.com.
Data stays on your device
Yizo runs entirely on your device. Your data, preferences and progress are stored locally. Space runs no servers for the app, so this information never reaches us.
Optional sync
You can choose to sync Yizo across your devices through iCloud on Apple devices or, when available, Google Drive on Android. Synced data is end-to-end encrypted and Space cannot see it. It is handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy terms.
Bug reports and support
The app includes an optional bug report button. If you use it, an email is prepared containing:
- The app console logs.
- Device information: device model, operating system version, app version, region and language.
- A description and screenshots, if you add them.
Nothing is sent unless you send that email. We review it only to fix and improve the app, never for tracking. Support emails and bug reports are kept for up to two years and then deleted. The legal basis is your consent, given by sending the report, and our legitimate interest in maintaining the app.
What we do not collect
Yizo contains no analytics tools, no advertising and no tracking. The only statistics Space sees are anonymised aggregates provided by the App Store and, in the future, Google Play.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling the app deletes the data stored locally. Data synced through iCloud or Google Drive must be deleted by you in those services, since Space has no access to it.
Your rights (EU, EEA and UK)
Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and object to processing of personal data we hold, which in practice is limited to support emails and bug reports. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise your rights, write to privacy@spaceforgers.com.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, aepd.es) or with the authority of your country.
California residents
Under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents have rights to know, delete and correct their personal information. Space does not sell or share personal information.
Security incidents
If a data breach affecting you occurs, we will notify you and the competent authorities as the law requires.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the app or the law changes. The latest version is always published on this page, with its date.
Yizo keeps your data on your device; Space has nothing to sell and no way to see it.
